The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show is quickly approaching. On February 10-12, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, food service professionals will be learning about trends in the industry, while seeing the latest innovative and high-design products. This highly regarded trade show features more than 500 exhibitors displaying products for preparation, cooking, storage, and table service. The show attracts nearly 20,000 food service professionals to the event, eager to improve their daily operations and dining atmospheres.

As a food service professional, you may be asking yourself, “What can I gain from attending The NAFEM Show?”
At the show you will be able to see the latest product features and elegant designs that could take your dining atmosphere to the next level. See products that will better assist your chefs and servers, while awing guests.
In addition to showcasing high-design products in the industry, the show further highlights innovative products with labor saving, sanitation, “green” and food safety features in its “What’s Hot! What’s Cool!®” new product gallery. You can learn how these uniquely designed products could enhance your food service operations, while increasing efficiency. You can visit the gallery, at no additional badge fee, during all show hours. In order for products to be featured in this gallery, they must meet the following criteria as established by NAFEM:
  • The item must be a new concept or existing product available for sale after February 8, 2009.

  • The item must demonstrate a strong value proposition to the foodservice operator through aesthetic impact, cost reduction, offering a new foodservice application or some other type of additional benefit.

At the show you will also have the opportunity to attend complimentary educational sessions featuring spotlight speakers focusing on innovative thinking, corporate responsibility, and future trends. These knowledgeable speakers will give you ideas to implement at your establishment. Numerous breakout session speakers will also be discussing how to improve your food service operations.
Also at The NAFEM Show, attendees will have the option of receiving ServSafe® food safety training or attending two networking events to exchange ideas with other food service professionals. The NAFEM Show holds endless opportunities for food service professionals to connect and learn about the latest innovative products and trends in the industry.
